About David Lloyd
Originally from Solihull, I moved to Suckley, Worcestershire in 2017 with my wife Rebecca.
I began my carpentry career as an apprentice at a Heritage restoration company based in Birmingham, William Sapcote & Sons. where I went on to complete my qualification of a NVQ 3 in Carpentry & Joinery. Progressing with various training I moved up to a site management role, running restoration projects ranging from minor works through to £300k projects.
Working primarily within heritage restoration I was able to learn the more traditional methods of carpentry whilst also being able to learn various other aspects of the building industry. I undertook anything from specialist roof repairs on National trust properties through to new build projects, as you will see from the photo galleries, I cover a wide aspect of work within the building trade.
A short break from carpentry saw me join a prestigious swimming pool company known for being one of the best in the country working on multi-million pound projects predominantly within London and the home counties. This furthered my ambition to achieve the best possible finish on all jobs I carried out no matter how big or small.
David Lloyd Carpentry was set up in January 2020 following my previous employer going into liquidation which ultimately gave me the push I needed to start my business, with the aim of providing a friendly local carpentry company that has the ability to achieve a high-quality finish to the customers exacting requirements.
